Description
At 2.75 by 4.15 inches the flamingo is the tallest thing on the sheet and he knows it. He stands on two stick legs with his feathers blown out in every direction, a Santa hat sliding off one side of his head, a striped knit scarf wound twice around a neck that does not need one, and an expression of total alarm. Two ornaments come with him, a starfish and a sand dollar, each hung from a tiny bow, and five sentiments do the rest: "Tickled Pink it's Christmas!", "Have a flamazing Christmas.", "Christmas is coming in hot!", "Fla-mingle all the way." and "Doing my festive best." This is the card for the friend who spends December somewhere warm, the snowbird relatives, and anyone whose holiday card should not have a snowflake on it. All that plumage is open line work, so a light pink wash beats solid color every time.
