Description

Lisa Arana built this background from line after line of typewritten affirmations, then roughed it up with smudges, overstrikes and patches where the ink piles up. From arm’s length it reads as texture, and up close you can pick out phrases about laughing often, staying curious and blooming where you are planted. The grunge typewriter background measures approximately 4.25 by 5.5 inches, a full A2 card front, with no separate sentiments. Stamp it in pale gray or tan behind a floral, or in black on kraft for mixed media and masculine cards. It also suits art journal pages, where a partial impression in one corner is often enough.
