Angie Blom’s Merry Mingle is a girl seen from behind in a full tulle party skirt and heels, hair pinned up, holding a small wrapped gift behind her back. It is a Christmas card for a friend, and the sentiments are gift-tag ready: Just a little something; Having a friend like you is a Christmas wish come true. I have been making and creating girls most of my life, I just love putting them in different outfits, having a theme to them… But was so inspired by my first mixed media class 2 years ago … I love to draw so these girls came naturally to me. I could spend hours drawing them. So I decided to take a leap of faith and submitted them. I wanted to share them with everyone, kids can use them like colouring pages, artists on canvas, scrap bookers on layouts and card makers on cards. You will see how multi functional one stamp can be.
