Description
Phyllis Harris drew this girl in profile, lips to a dandelion, while her long hair streams out behind her in sweeping lines. Two loose seed tufts come as their own small stamps, so you can send wishes drifting across the card wherever you want them. The three sentiments, “Whisper your wish to the wind,” “Close your eyes and make a wish” and “Life is a balance of holding on and letting go,” cover birthdays, encouragement and a gentle thinking of you. The girl measures approximately 2.75 by 3.75 inches. Leave her as line art and add color only to the hair for a card that looks hand sketched.
This adorable collector’s stamp kit is from Illustrator Phyllis Harris. Did you know that Phyllis is an artist for the popular HIGHLIGHTS magazine for children as well as stamp illustrator for Unity Stamp Company? How cool is that?
