Description

Description

A basset hound rests his chin on a ledge with his long ears spilling down either side of his face, eyes rolled up in that permanently worried basset look, drawn in dense detailed shading. Six punny sentiments surround him, including I’m all ears, I’m a basset case without you, I ruff u, Love you furever and Ruff day, plus a tiny heart-check speech bubble. The hound measures about 1.25 by 3.75 inches, a wide low shape that sits along the bottom edge of an A2 card as if he is peeking over it. Stamp him in black and let the shading do the work; a touch of brown on the ears is all the color he needs. It is a love, miss-you or cheer-up card for any basset owner or hound person.
