Lori Ryan

Hi! I’m Lori Ryan and I was born and raised in the Cleveland, Ohio area but now live in the beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have one very special daughter, age 11, named Alysa.

I have been an artist all my life. As a child I was often seen sitting drawing under a tree in our front yard. And, the adventure continued. I have a degree in art and in design. I am currently working by day at an advertising agency downtown Minneapolis and at night I run my freelance design business, Lori Ryan Design. Because my daughter has quite a few learning disabilities homework time at night also consumes my evenings. Children always come first! But EVERY second free that I have is consumed with scrapbook and card events with such a vast amount of friends that I love so much! Scrapbookers/cardmakers are the nicest of people. I find that the computer took away my time for drawing by hand so my scrapbook pages often become my art. I love tearing paper, mixing colors and stamping. It’s a blast!

I am very appreciative to Angela and Unity Stamp for allowing me to bring my drawings to life on a different medium. And how exciting is it that people will actually get to use and use and use my art. This is so amazing.
