Heather Mellstrom

I'm a newlywed – married to my very own prince charming, David. We recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and are now planning on expanding our family to more then just our 3 lovable fur balls (Duke, Dakota, and Coco). Before packing up my bags and moving to Arizona to join my prince, you could find me dancing down the streets of Disneyland portraying world famous Disney princess' and characters in their shows and parades, or dancing from sea to shining sea on board Holland America cruise ships. However, now a days it seems as though I have traded in my dancing shoes and dazzling costumes for a pair of scissors and a bottle (or two) of glitter.

I have always been enamored with crafts and begun this journey in paper arts about 12 years ago. I first begun this journey in the craft world as a rubber stamper before becoming a scrapbooker. Now a days, I love to incorporate all types of mediums into my creations and am thrilled to have the opportunity to share it with you all as a member of the Unity Stamp Company Design Team. I am currently a creative team member for Heart in Hand Scraps and am honored to have my work featured in the following publications: Paper Trends, Paper Crafts, Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Homegrown Hospitality, and Somerset Studios.

The thing I love most about this hobby is the endless possibilities and opportunities it affords to those of us in it. As Walt Disney states, "All of our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." I must say, that being a part of Unity Stamp Company as it begins in this journey is a dream come true for me. I am so thrilled to work with such an innovative company who's dreams and inspirations I believe in and whose ethics I admire. I am also honored to be surrounded by such talented women- the other members of this design team are a true inspiration!
